Larry Lucchino: Well there’s an adjustment to the road uniforms that will touch upon Red Sox tradition. It’s a little back to the future kind of thing and there will be some adjustments to the logo as well so both items are going to be announced tomorrow (Thursday, December 11).Centerfield has a nice breakdown of all the rumors and hub bub - here... and it sounds like this image below is a pretty good example of what we can expect to see on Manny Delcarmen when he struts his stuff at the Game On! event tomorrow night.
But Larry's comments have me wondering if this logo could find it's way onto the uniform or hat...
This logo was introduced on new uniforms in 1908... 100 years ago.
