Extra Bases is reporting that Terry Francona will miss Boston’s 2-game series on Tuesday and Wednesday in Baltimore.Mary Ann Lang, the mother of his wife, Jacque, passed away on Monday night in Tucson, Ariz. Francona and his family flew to Tucson today.
Bench coach Brad Mills will manage the club during the Orioles series.
